5. Chicken Run

This is an animation comedy for the whole family. Mr. and Mrs. Tweedy run a tight ship on their farm. All the chickens are under pressure to produce eggs, or face death.

Feeling repressed, and facing certain death, the chickens start trying to escape. After many failed attempts, and time running out, a new rooster named Rocky shows up on the farm. Seeing Rocky fly gives the chickens hope. If they can only learn to fly.

4. Traffic

The war on drugs is heating up. Robert Wakefield (Michael Douglas) has just been appointed the new US drug czar, and he want to catch a big drug lord. He captures one, Carlos Ayala, and things just get more complicated. Corruption runs rampant on both sides of the border.

Ayala’s wife Helena now wants control of her husbands drug empire. Robert Wakefield then discovers his own daughter is a drug addict. Meanwhile, DEA agents try to protect their key witness in the Carlos Ayala case.

3. Almost Famous

A young high school boy gets the chance of a lifetime when is asked to write for Rolling Stone about a new, upcoming band named Stillwater. Based in the late 1960’s young William Miller gets to travel with the band, and write their story.

He sees it all, the groupies, the parties, and the drugs. He sees the band struggle to stay together. He writes it all, but the band must okay the story, or it won’t be printed.

2. Memento

Memento is a complex thriller about a man who functions on short term memory. His last constant memory is of the murder of his wife. He is trying to find her killer.

Every time he falls asleep, his new memories are erased. He writes information to himself, and tattoos his body with information. Each time he wakes up, he tries to reconstruct what is happening from his notes and tattoos.

1. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 

The great warrior Li Mu Bai decides to give his powerful, and ancient sword, the Green Destiny, to an old friend, as a gift. His sword was then stolen by a mysterious master of the marshal arts.

Li now is on quest to recover his old sword, and return it. He also wants to avenge the death of his master, who died at the hand of the evil Jade Fox. He is joined on his quest by the love of his life, Shu Lien.
