5. American Movie

American movie is a documentary film about the making of a small independent movie. It documents the efforts of Milwaukee filmmaker Mark Borchart as he rushes to finish his horror film Coven. He starts with a credit card, $3,000 from Uncle Bill, and a dream.

It takes three years to finally finish the movie. He battles his own demons, alcohol, gambling, and self doubt, in the process. He fights on with his rag tag teams to complete his dream. He considers this struggle as a classic example of the American dream.

4. Toy Store 2

A fun animated film. When Andy is off to summer camp, Woody has been taken by collector Al McWiggen. He was accidentally put into a yard sale. Woody, as it turns out, happens to be a very valuable collectable.

This is all out war, Woody must be rescued. Buzz, Mr. Potato head and others are on the case. It’s a race against time as Woody’s new owner is about to sell him to someone in Japan.

3. Being John Malkovich

Being John Malkovich is just what the title implies. An ambitious puppeteer, working as a filing clerk, makes an incredible discovery. He finds a door in his office that, when you go through it, puts you inside the mind of John Malkovich.

The experience lasts for about 15 minutes, then you exit near the New Jersey Turnpike. Seeing an opportunity to make some money, they start selling trips into the mind John Malkovich. Soon things start to get out of control.

2.  Tarzan

This is an animated version of the classic story of Tarzan. Tarzan is a small orphaned boy, who was discovered and raised by an ape named Kala. He knows the apes as his true family.

When Jane Porter “rescues” Tarzan, he comes to see that he is human. This leads Tarzan to have to make a tough decision. He must decide which world he belongs in, the human world, or the jungle.

This is a story of self discovery. Lester and Carolyn Burnham and their daughter Jane are a family in disarray. Lester is having a mid-life crisis and quits his job. Carolyn is having an affair with another real estate agent.

Jane is just a teenager trying to survive the world around her. There next door neighbor Ricky befriends Lester, and falls in love with Jane. After all the turmoil will things turn out for the best?
