5. The Bourne Ultimatum

Jason Bourne is back in action again. When a British journalist discovers some puzzling information about an operation named Blackbrier, Bourne needs to know what’s going on. Still trying to learn who he is, he sees this as an opportunity to track the truth. The CIA become aware that this meeting will happen, and the chase is on again. The director of the CIA wants Bourne terminated. Head agent Pamela Landy feels different, but orders are given.

The final movie of the Bourne trilogy, the movie moves seamlessly from The Bourne Supremacy. It starts in Moscow, with Bourne running for his life as he was when The Bourne Supremacy ended. He continues to elude attempts on his life, while trying to find out who he is, and what he can do to stop the pursuit.

4. The Lives Of Others

The Lives Of Others is a political thriller set in East Berlin in the 1980’s. The story gives a strong view of what a police state feels like to those living inside it. The story has many elements. You see the world from the pint of view of the Stasi Capt. Geird Wiesler, as he runs surveillance on clelbrated East German playright Georg Dreyman, supposedly a suspected dissident. This is really a ploy to allow Cultural Minister Bruno Hempf to move in on Dreyman’s girl.

Once aware that his lover is being forced to be with this high up official, he must take some action. Secretly he writes of the high suicide rates in East Germany, a statistic hidden by the government. From here things twist and turn,I won’t spoiler it for you.

3. There Will Be Blood

This movie is set in the early 20th century, and follows the rise to power of Daniel Plainview, a dymnamic yet brutal oil prospector. Moving in on California oil prospects, he manipulates and exploits local landowners, getting them to sell their land to him. He even uses his adopted son to project an image of a good family man.

He further gains trust of the community with promises of schools and other improvements. Once he has aquired his wealth, he withdraws from the community. His true self is finally exposed.

2. No Country For Old Men

A drug deal has gone bad. There are dead bodies with a case of money amongst the bodies. When Llewelyn Moss walks into this scene, he decides to keep the money, and say nothing. He then finds himself being chased by a ruthless killer, Anton Chiguh. Anton knows about the money, and wants it for himself.

Moss, a Vietnam vet, is on the run. Anton is leaving a path of destruction as he tries to track down Moss.

1. Ratatouille

An animated comedy, Ratatouille is the story of a rat named Remy. Remy is not your normal rat. While the other rats are eating garbage, Remy can’t stay out of an expensive French because he loves good food. He puts his life on the line every time he goes there.

Remy dreams of becoming a chef. He gets a chance when a young boy needs help in order to keep his job. Unable to cook himself, he gets help from Remy. When the soup is a big hit a partnership is born.
